Delivery of Terex mining dump trucks from Scotland to Malmyzh copper field

Across completed its first major delivery under the project for construction of a mining and processing plant with a capacity of up to 35 million tons of ore per year. Investments provided by the Russian Copper Company.
Cargo: 5 articulated heavy dump trucks Terex TA400

Route: Motherwell, Scotland - St. Petersburg - Malmyzh copper field, Khabarovsk kray.

Dimensions and weight of 1 dump truck: 11 055 x 3 360 x 3 945 mm, 30 820 kg
The dump trucks were delivered in two batches by RO-RO ferry to St. Petersburg. After customs clearance, the cargo was delivered to the Aсross railway deadlock for shipment by rail. The delivery was coordinated and secured on an expedited basis thanks to the pre-arranged and negotiated schemes for that machinery model and simultaneous involvement of two teams of workers.

A specialist from Across Vladivostok office was sent to Khabarovsk to receive the dump trucks, and the cargo was inspected for external damage and the integrity of the equipment.

We would also like to note the transit time of delivery across Russia – it took only 18 days for the dump trucks to be transferred from in St. Petersburg to the consignee, starting from the date the cargo had been delivered to the St. Petersburg deadlock.
